Hygiene

Our hygienists are specifically trained in the prevention and treatment of gingivitis and periodontal disease. Examination of the gums involves recording the presence of bleeding, plaque, calculus (tartar), mobility, gum recession and enamel erosion.

Direct Access

With Direct access patients have option to see a dental care professional (DCP) without having to see a dentist first and without a prescription from a dentist.

You don't have to be registered with us to see our Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist.

Cleaning

Maintenance Cleaning - removal of plaque bacteria and staining.

Professional Air Polish - removal of deeply ingrained stains such as those caused by smoking and tea/coffee/red wine drinking.

Deep Scaling - cleaning below the gumline in those hard to reach areas

Advice

Education and Advice - instruction on how best to achieve a good daily home-care routine

Fluoride Application - to reduce dentine sensitivity and strengthen weakened enamel
